I did some research; some write-ups, including AI, & OFCOURSE QURAN, and tried to evaluate & deconstruct how this ANCIENT TRIBAL MIND-SET manifests EVEN in today’s Modern, Material Based/Secular, and Digital World, and following is the outcome:

1. Many people today vote for Political Parties strictly because their parents did (Just like Old Tribal Loyalty). Modern Voters often DEFEND a Political party’s Corruption or Harmful (clearly damaging/flawed approach) Policies SIMPLY because “Our family has always voted for this party.” They view switching political sides as a Betrayal of their Heritage.


2. The Societies worldwide continue Practices that cause SERIOUS Physical or Psychological harm purely due to TRADITION (OLD Argument; “This is how we have always done it.”). In Modern Practices like FORCED or UNDERAGE Marriages, Extreme HAZING in Universities (abusive, degrading, or dangerous initiation RITUALS required to join a group. It often involves Physical Violence, Sexual assault, Forced Alcohol Consumption, or SEVERE Psychological Trauma). These terribly HARMFUL ACTS VIOLATE School or Organizational Policies.


3. Family Expectations often force younger generations into specific professional boxes (Defining success through an INHERITED LENSE). Parents PRESSURIZING children to become Doctors, Lawyers, or Engineers, or EVEN to take over a FAILING Family Business, REGARDLESS of their CHILD’s TALENT or Market Reality. Similarly, enforcing RIGID DOMESTIC ROLES because “Women/Men in OUR Family don’t do that” mimics this BIAS.


4. How people Handle, View, and Talk about MONEY is deeply tied to Ancestral Conditioning. People refuse to use Quranic METHODOLOGY (Value- Based) because their forefathers only trusted OLD practices (and Modern people think Value-based System is Impractical). Conversely, generational Cycles of poverty or toxic spending habits repeat because breaking the cycle feels like rejecting one’s roots.


5. Corporate marketing aggressively exploits the Psychological Comfort of Legacy and Nostalgia (Equating long-standing existence with Superior Quality; Material Based Mind-set). Buying specific brands of cars, household goods, or insurance solely because “my father and grandfather only bought from them.” Consumers ignore cheaper, safer, or more efficient modern alternatives due to emotional legacy loyalty. People have become STATUS and BRAND SLAVES. We are NOT interested to EVEN look into Cognitive Dissonance (Contradiction between BELIEF SYSTEM and ACTIONS or Holding two/multiple different Belief Systems) to see why changing these Inherited Beliefs CAUSE people so much MENTAL DISCOMFORT; DESPAIR, DEPRESSION and many other Psychological Problems. We consider QURANIC VALUE BASED SYTEM OUTDATED in the Modern World.

The Quran Systematically deconstructs the LOGIC of Blindly Following Ancestors/Forefathers through several Rational, Intellectual, and Psychological Arguments: Some of them are:


1. The Argument of Intellectual Failure:
   The Quran repeatedly points out that Ancestors/Forefathers were human, fallible, and not inherently possessors of perfect Wisdom or Guidance. The question to ask is how people can follow Ancestors who lacked Basic Logic/Reasoning or CORRECT direction:
   5: 104 (Al-Ma’eedah)
   
   وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ
   
   “…….Even though their Forefathers/Ancestors knew NOTHING, nor were they GUIDED?”
   



2. The Argument of Superior Alternatives:
   The Quran appeals to PURE LOGIC by asking why someone would choose an outdated, flawed path when a Clearly THE BEST OF THE BEST, PERFECTLY Accurate PATH is right in front of them. It challenges the practical wisdom of preferring a legacy over PROVEN TRUTH:
   43: 24 (Az-Zukhruf)
   
   قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُم بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمْ عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَكُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
   
   The Messenger asks, “Even if I brought you Better Guidance than what you found your forefathers following?”
   



3. Exposing Self-Delusion and Blind Imitation:
   The Quran categorizes this Mind-set not as a VALID intellectual stance, but as LAZY Emotional, and Thoughtless imitation (Taqlid تقلید). It reduces their defensive argument to mere Guesswork, Social Conditioning, and Cognitive Bias rather than FACTUAL PROOF:
   53: 23 (An-Najm)
   
   إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَىٰ
   
   They are but names that you have invented, you and your ancestors, for which Allah has revealed no Authority. They follow nothing but CONJECTURE and their fantasies. Now the Guidance from their RABB has come to them (hence, they have no excuses).

4. Revealing the True Manipulator/Hinderer (Shaitan’s Exploitation):
   The Quran deconstructs the Emotional Comfort of “TRADITION” by revealing that Shaitan uses CULTURAL Nostalgia as a TRAP to lead people to destruction: It forces the person to realize they are not honoring their parents; they are being manipulated by an enemy.
   31: 21 (Luqman)
   
   وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
   
   “…….Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our forefathers. Even if Shaitan was inviting them to the Punishment of the Blaze?”



5. Individual Accountability Over Collective Identity:
   Societies heavily rely on tribal, national, or familial identity to justify their Actions. The Quran shatters this collective shield by demanding individual responsibility. On the Day of Judgment, Ancestral Lineage, Social Status, and Cultural history will be entirely IRRELEVANT.
   19: 95 (Mayam)
   
   وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا
   
   “And Each of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection SINGLY”.
